When using H5P you may notice something called the OER (Open Educational Resources) Hub. It’s an integrated content library that lets users around the world discover, share, and reuse interactive H5P content, directly from within the tool. OER are items that have been created by other users that are available for anyone to freely reuse or remix. As a H5P user, you can choose to make your content available on the OER hub for others to use.
It’s important to note that the content within the hub is not monitored. This means that the user is responsible for the content you choose to use or submit. If you are submitting content to the OER hub, make sure it complies with McMaster’s Copyright rules.
Content on the OER Hub is shared under a creative commons license. Licenses can range from allowing the activities to be reused and remixed with credit to the original creator. With or without the ability to also use the content for commercial purposes. Make sure to review the license type of content on the hub before downloading it.
